These Terms & Conditions apply to purchases of products and services offered by changeofcolours through changeofcolours.com and associated checkout pages.
By purchasing a product or service, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
1. About changeofcolours
changeofcolours is an independent music and creative project offering original music, digital products, personalized creative services, and related offerings.

2. Products and services
The products and services available may include:
digital music and audio downloads;
personalized music and creative commissions, including Sound Portraits;
digital resources and other creative products or services.
The description shown on the relevant product or offering page forms part of the agreement and explains what is included in each purchase.
3. Prices and payment
Prices are displayed on the relevant product or checkout page.
Payment is due at the time of purchase unless otherwise stated. Payments may be processed securely through third-party payment providers such as Stripe.
A purchase is considered confirmed once payment has been successfully completed.
4. Digital products
Digital products are provided electronically and are not physical goods.
Unless explicitly stated otherwise, purchasing a digital product grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the product for your own private purposes.
Purchasing a digital product does not transfer copyright or ownership of the underlying music, recordings, artwork, written material, or other intellectual property.
Digital products may not be resold, redistributed, sublicensed, published, uploaded, commercially exploited, or otherwise made available to third parties unless you have received prior written permission from changeofcolours.
5. Personalized works and Sound Portraits
A Sound Portrait is a personalized creative work created individually in response to information and reflections voluntarily shared by the customer.
The creative process and final artistic decisions remain with changeofcolours. This includes, where applicable, the choice of instrument, scale, musical direction, structure, mood, and interpretation.
Because a Sound Portrait is an intuitive and artistic commission, purchasing one does not guarantee a particular musical style, emotional response, or specific creative outcome.
The questionnaire is intended to provide inspiration and context rather than instructions for reproducing a predetermined piece of music.
6. Revisions
Unless explicitly agreed otherwise before purchase, Sound Portraits and other personalized musical works do not include revisions.
The completed work represents the final artistic interpretation of the information provided by the customer.
7. Customer information and questionnaire
For personalized offerings, you may be asked to complete a questionnaire after purchase.
You are responsible for providing the information reasonably required for the creation of the work. You may share as much or as little personal information as feels appropriate, provided there is sufficient information for the commission to be created.
Please do not submit information about another person that you do not have the right to share.
Information submitted through the questionnaire is handled in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
8. Delivery
Digital products and personalized works are delivered electronically.
The expected delivery timeframe for personalized services is stated on the relevant offering page or communicated to the customer.
Any stated delivery timeframe is an estimate unless expressly agreed otherwise. If an unexpected circumstance significantly affects delivery, I will contact you using the email address provided with your purchase.
The customer is responsible for providing a valid email address and for checking their inbox and spam/junk folder for communications relating to their order.
9. Personal use and copyright
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, a Sound Portrait is provided for the customer's personal and private use only.
You may:
download and keep your Sound Portrait;
listen to it privately for an unlimited period of time; and
make reasonable personal backup copies.
You may not, without prior written permission:
publish or publicly upload the recording;
distribute or share copies of the recording;
release it through streaming or music distribution platforms;
use it in publicly available videos, podcasts, social media content, films, advertisements, or other media;
sell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the recording;
claim authorship or ownership of the composition or recording; or
use the recording to create or train commercial products, datasets, or artificial intelligence systems.
All copyright and intellectual property rights in the composition, performance, recording, and associated creative work remain with changeofcolours unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing.
10. Cancellations, refunds and withdrawal rights
Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory consumer rights that apply under applicable law.
Because personalized works are created specifically for an individual customer, cancellation or withdrawal rights may differ from those applicable to standard products.
For digital content and personalized services, the start of performance and the availability of statutory withdrawal rights may depend on the customer's express consent and acknowledgment where required by applicable consumer law.
Any legally required information and declarations regarding withdrawal rights will apply in addition to these Terms.
If you believe there is a problem with your order or you purchased something by mistake, please contact contact@changeofcolours.com as soon as possible.
11. Technical issues
If a digital file cannot be accessed or downloaded because of a technical problem, please contact me and I will make reasonable efforts to provide access to the purchased content.
This does not cover problems caused solely by incompatible devices, software, internet connections, or circumstances outside my reasonable control.
12. Intellectual property
Unless otherwise stated, all original music, recordings, photographs, videos, artwork, text, branding, digital products, and other creative material provided by changeofcolours remain protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws.
Nothing in a purchase transfers intellectual property ownership unless this has been expressly agreed in writing.
13. Third-party services
Some parts of the purchase and delivery process may rely on third-party services, including payment processors, website providers, form providers, email services, or download platforms.
Their own terms and privacy policies may also apply when you interact with their services.
14. Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be prohibited by applicable law.
To the extent permitted by law, changeofcolours is not responsible for indirect losses or for interruptions and failures caused by circumstances outside reasonable control.
Creative products and personalized works are provided as artistic and creative offerings. They are not medical, psychological, therapeutic, legal, or other professional advice or treatment.
15. Changes to these Terms
These Terms may be updated from time to time to reflect changes to the products, services, business practices, or applicable legal requirements.
The Terms applicable to a purchase are those in effect at the time the order is placed, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
